You need a valid visa when you travel to Egypt. You will not be allowed into the country without the visa. This also applies to minors. The application procedure is simple; fill out the online application form, pay the visa fee, and wait for the visa to be sent by e-mail. This usually happens within a few days. Submit your application at least one week before arrival.
